The motoring authority has intensified its rules to reduce accidents in our roads.

Drivers in our country need to be very careful if they want to continue using our public roads. This is because the motoring authority has intensified its rules and regulations in order to reduce the occurrence of accidents in our roads which have been claiming so many lives recently. Every driver should have a valid driver’s license if they want to continue using the public roads. Also, they need to have valid motoring certificates and an insurance cover for at least a third party to cover the vehicle and the damages in case of an accident. Failure to adhere to these requirements will see the driver being penalized in one way or the other. For instance, in a case where the driver violated traffic rules, penalty points are given to their licenses and in case of more that twelve points in one year, the driver license is confiscated for good. The motoring offences penalty points have been working so well in this country. But there is a likelihood of reducing the number of points in order to ensure that drivers will take the matter of being careful on the roads seriously.
