Even My Pashmina Can't Keep Me Warm This Winter

This winter in the UK is beyond a joke - it's so bloody freezing! They're blaming it on a misaligned gulf-stream. Perversely the gulf stream is pointing toward the Sahara - as if they need warm winds! Not even my pashmina shawl can keep me warm, nor my gloves, hat, thick winter coat - nothing. The chill is really getting to me, and we're not even at Christmas yet - we have a good 2 months left of this misery. And even if I had the cash and time to fly away to somewhere warm, the airports are in a mess! They've even told us to stay away from them. Oh, what to do - I guess I'll just have to bear it and somehow get used to it. One thing is for sure though - when spring arrives, I'll spend much more time outdoors than I did this year.
