Most of us would like to know how to live longer. However, some people who have lived a long time, will explain that it is not always living longer that is good, but making sure that you have a good quality of life. It is not good if you live a long time but do not enjoy life perhaps because you are unwell or not mobile.
A great way to make sure that you live longer is to exercise. This will not only lengthen your life by helping your heart to remain healthy but also keep you more mobile and help you to fight off illnesses. This must be enough motivation for anyone to get fitter.
Many people decide not to exercise because they think it is boring. However, there are so many things that you can do to get fit, you cannot say that you have tried them all and found them all boring. There are many different sports, clubs and groups you can join and you can always put together your own exercise routine to suit you.
One thing that you can try is an exercise boot camp. This is a holiday which might be a long weekend or week, where you spend most of the time exercising. You will be introduced to many different types of exercise, which will help you to discover some new ones and think about what you might like to do when you return home.
It should help to motivate you as well, because you will find it fun and learn how exercise can make you feel great. You will also have no excuse not to join in with the exercise and this is something which can be a barrier to many people. Hopefully it will be a good start so when you get home you are motivated to keep exercising.
